Thunderbird for Android Community Forum

Hallo,

kann ich meinen Mailkonten auch Icons zuordnen? Das wurde nach der Designumstellung rausgenommen. Nun ist es problematisch mehrere Mailkonten zuzuordnen.

Schade, dass das alte zwischenzeitlich schöne und moderne Design von K9 in eine unübersichtliche Outlook-Kopie umgewandelt wurde. Weiß jemand warum das sein musste?

Hallo, Unterordner werden leider nicht mehr automatisch synchronisiert. Bei K9 hat es funktioniert. Wurde es tatsächlich abgeschaltet oder kann ich es konfigurieren?

Hallo, in der Desktop Version funktioniert das verschieben von Mails in Ordner eines anderen Mailkonto ganz wunderbar. Wenn man auf Verschieben geht werden alle Ordner aller installierten Mailkonten angezeigt und ich kann die Mail in den notwendigen Ordner verschieben.

In Thunderbird für Android kann ich nur innerhalb des einen Mailkonto verschieben, was die Arbeit doch schon einschränkt.

Ihr hattet verkündet, das Thunderbird für Android die gleichen Funktionen erhalten soll wie die Desktop Version.

Gibt es eine Aussicht auf diese Funktion bei Android?

I am at a loss and tried looking for solutions but, my issue with sending email through Thunderbird Android.

I have three accounts, gmail and 2 personal. One of my personal email accounts (IMAP); email gets sent, copied onto server's sent folder and everything is normal... EXCEPT the recipient doesn't get the email.

I use this account on Thunderbird Desktop and its fine... I see the sent email from android on the desktop but the email sent doesn't hit the final inbox.

Anyone have an idea?

I've changed settings (signature, type format, etc.), I've removed the account and added again. I've waited days to see if email gets delivered and it doesn't.

It's weird because Thunderbird desktop has no issues.

a lot of my emails have parts of the email overlapping each other, can we get an option to have the emails auto fit? I have the latest version of Thunderbird on mobile.

Hello! When scrolling through messages, the subject, sender and recipient parts disappear. They appear temporarily when I tap on the icons or blank areas at the top, but disappear again when I scroll. This happens with both plain text and HTML emails, but only some HTML emails display fine. I can't find any other similar questions, so I wonder if this problem is unique to my environment? If so, I'll wait until I buy a new smartphone. Please give me some advice.

I tried to install TB beta on my phone

The step which is supposed to confirm that TB should access my gmail dat kept taking me to a google search page - the last thing I want anywhere on my systems.

I uninstalled and tried again twice with no improvement. The second attempt included deleting all app data on the phone.

As I was looking for this page I saw mention of TB nightly. It is not yet in my version of the play store.

Is there a way to get the archive button to show on top of the individual message view, next to delete? Having to click Three Dots > Refile > Archive is a bit onerous. If not, can I submit a feature request to be able to enable that?

Cannot find any understandable assistance to set up sub folders in the inbox nor create rules to move emails as they are received to the correct subfolder. You claim this can be achieved but the information and auto elements prevent this being achieved. This is both on the gmail site accessed through windows and the thunderbird android app. You will be aware how easy this process is in outlook. Steve Williams

I've scanned the QR code like it says to do. Once it's been scanned it will not allow any Google accounts to be added as it says there is missing information for incoming and outgoing servers. Also the passwords are missing and I've also got a fault. OAuth sing in failed.

How do I fix this?

I have several email addresses and I'd like to place them in a neutral and safe haven. I read that Thunderbird is one, if not the best.

Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, is it possible to move the top bar with the folder and the trash can from top to bottom when you open an email? Deleting emails is cumbersome because you have to move your finger from the bottom position all the way up to the trash can? Greetings
